We Celebrated the 4th of July on Schofield Barracks!

Hey there! Hawaii Savings Club helped Sponsor the 4th of July on Schofield Barracks and I, along with three other amazing gals, had a blast working the event! We had two tables setup with spectacular giveaways, iPads available where people were able to enter this month’s amazing Back to School $500 Sweepstakes, and a Spin the Wheel with fabulous prizes!

We arrived at Weyand Field around 7:30am to begin unboxing all our inventory because we were anticipating large crowds. So, we wanted to make sure our tables were stocked and ready for a smooth operation- and let me tell you something, we were not disappointed! The amount of people that came by our tables was incredible!!

We could not unbox our Johnson and Johnson sample giveaways fast enough. They were flying off the table!! We handed out full size Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen, Listerine Cool Mint Pocket Packs, Band-aid travel size kits, and Kleenex Wet Wipes! Plus, we had people using our iPads to become Hawaii Savings Club members, as well as entering this month’s fabulous Back to School $500 Sweepstakes. Speaking of our sweepstakes, have you entered yet?  Two lucky winners will win $500 that they will get to donate to the school of their choice! Now, I know every school could use a little extra help so be sure and sign up. You still have time…deadline to enter is July 31st!!

Our second table featured a Spin the Wheel where people were able to win some great prizes. We had $10 NEX gift cards, Johnson and Johnson tote bags, heart-shaped pillows, and cell phone rings. One of my favorite things throughout the event was watching the anticipation on the faces of the people as they waited to see what they won! Absolutely priceless!

We stayed busy until about 3pm and had so much fun with everyone who stopped by our booth. We were also able to enjoy some of the festivities, which included the Black Dagger Parachute Demonstration, as well as musical performances by Hawaiian reggae artist Anuhea and country music artist David Nail. And of course we stayed for the fireworks show!!!

I hope some of you were able to come to this event! If you did attend we would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment and let know if you stopped by our booth! I had a wonderful time celebrating the 4th on Schofield and I hope I get the opportunity to do more events like this in the future!
