Aloha everyone! Some of you may already be doing what I’m going to write about in this blog; if so, then you can attest to how beneficial it is to take the time to browse through weekly store advertisements to find the best deals on the food items you shop for regularly. You can save so much money!!!
Three of the main stores in town where I do my grocery shopping run their weekly specials from Wednesday through Tuesday. Now, I know some folks like to browse through the weekly ads in paper form; however, I personally prefer to look at the advertisements online. Times Supermarket, Foodland, and Safeway all feature their weekly ads online and they all also have free printable coupons on their websites (BONUS!). Safeway even gives you the option to clip and save coupons digitally so you do not have to print the coupons. You simply offer your information when checking out and any coupons you clipped are automatically scanned and taken off your grocery bill. How awesome is that?!
I don’t know about you all but I have two young kids who are bottomless pits and can eat their way through our fridge and pantry in days. I am able to save my family money simply by taking the time to do some price comparisons on the food items that we love. The best part is it isn’t time consuming. It doesn’t take me more than 15-20 minutes a week to look through the ads.
If you haven’t tried this money saving tip I absolutely urge you to give it a try. It’s free to view the online weekly ads, it won’t take up much of your time, and you could be saving your family some money.
