We are one year into the pandemic that has hit the world. While we continue maintaining social distancing and smaller gatherings, we have to embrace spring, and our mental health.
There are so many activities that can be done in Hawaii, that do allow you to maintain the six foot distance, yet allow you to get out and soak up those much needed rays of sun during the day. Here are a some things you can do to enjoy spring!
- Have a picnic in the backyard – this is perfect if you have children at home! You can try different foods from various cultures, or create your own delicious delicacies!
- Set up a hammock and get some reading in – reading outdoors is always enjoyable, at any age! Revisit some old favorites, or find some new favorites to enjoy.
- Take a hike or visit one of the many volcanoes – there are so many out of the way places to visit! If you don’t have favorite hiking trails, there are so many to choose from! The National Park Service in Hawaii also has many fun areas to choose from too!
- Go camping – get outside and reset those internal clocks! Taking a step away from the daily crazy can do wonders for the soul! Get out and relax, you deserve it!
No matter how you choose to spend your spring, take care of yourself! There is always only one you. Springtime in Hawaii is one of the most beautiful times as new life and plants are bursting forth. Aloha Spring!
