Do you want to take the family to a FREE engaging activity that has never been seen in Hawai’i? Then you’re going to want to check this out you guys! Aqueous, an interactive art installation by Hawai’i-raised artist Jen Lewin, will be on display November 16 through December 31 from 6am-10pm on The Lawn at Kapolei Commons.
Aqueous, a pop-up art exhibit, has been displayed at well-known events including South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. Lewin’s art perfectly captures the colorful, experience Hawai’i is known for all over the world. Take your family to enjoy the interactive art which features meandering pathways of light! The cool part is that you get a completely different experience during the day than at night. During the day, Aqueous will shift in color and reflection, mirroring the sky. At night, Aqueous will flow and glow in full illuminated interactivity, engaging large groups in collaborative play.
I can’t wait to take my entire family to this art exhibit. My oldest is enthralled with all things art and I know this interactive display will captivate his imagination and completely leave him inspired! If you go, please come back and leave a comment and let us know about your experience!
